Jacksonville: Part 1

Our big family vacation is finally here!  We left home about 5:45 to head to our airport parking spot.
Our group filled an entire shuttle!
The security line was much shorter and quicker than the last 2 times we travelled so we had plenty of time to get some food and play before heading to our gate.
Parker was really excited to fly this time and was talking about it all weekend leading up to our Monday departure.  He got a new set of suction spinners for the trip.
Esme and I shared a row with Kelsey and Jameson initially, but Jaxxon joined us later.
We landed on time and got our rental vehicles pretty quickly.  We grabbed lunch then ran errands to burn time until we could access the house at 4:00.  A vacation isn't complete without a trip to Krispy Kreme when available.
We wasted no time hopping in the pool after arriving to the house.  My brother took some house tour videos that can be seen in the video compilations at the end of each post.
Nana had lots of vacation gifts for all the kids.  Parker got a new funnel for the pool and Esme got a floating pizza with toppings that sink for retrieving from the bottom.
The patio and putting green was great for relaxing and playing as well.
We ate our first dinner outside, but it was so humid we didn't do this again.  We were keeping a close eye on tropical storm Idalia since it was on track to hit Jacksonville.  This was the first time we were anywhere close to a storm like this.
Parker couldn't get enough of the pool.  He was usually the first in and last out each day.
This house was a great set-up for our family.  With 5 bedrooms, each couple had a room, Jayden had his own, and Parker and Esme shared the bunk room.  Jaxxon and Jameson were in with Sean and Kelsey.
Every room has a TV so there were plenty of options if you wanted to couch potato it.  Jimmy took charge of breakfast Tuesday morning before we loaded up for a trip to the beach.
