Journey to 100 Parks #62 - Huber Park - Shakopee, MN

We made our first trek to the southern metro to meet up with some friends.
Key Features
We saw a donut shop just up the street and stopped for a quick treat before playing. Their double chocolate was on point!
There are so many features of this park it was hard to capture them all in one picture.  It was a primarily wooden structure and had a ton of nooks and crannies.  With so many places to hide, it made me feel more comfortable that there was a fence around most of it and just one main entry and exit point.
Almost everything here hasn't been seen on previous visits.  We were meeting up with Parker's long time speech pathologist from years ago, Kayla, and her kids, Brayden and Josie.  Brayden is just a little younger than Esme.  Brayden was really conscious about including Parker and playing with him.  It was very sweet.
We haven't been to any other Shakopee parks, but I have to believe this sign is true.
They included real tires in the structure.  There was a climb through tire ladder and real tire swing!
Brayden was impressed by how fast Parker was going.
The play town was a cute new feature.  They had a restaurant, bank, and more.
Couldn't have asked for a better weather day and we will need to start packing the sunscreen!  Esme declared this her favorite park!  Not quite perfect, but still deserves 9 swings.  We are looking forward to more playdates in the future.
