My group of friends from high school celebrated another wedding over the weekend. Chelsey moved to New Jersey over 10 years ago where she eventually met Troy. They have a big group of friends out there, but not much family so the wedding took place in Minnesota. We started the festivities with a bachelorette party on Thursday. I only went for dinner since I had to work Friday morning, but they went crazy all over town.
We met up with a bunch of friends at the church for the ceremony.

Left: Chelsey's mom and dad
Right: Our friend Brianne with groomsman #4 (sorry Chelsey, I can't remember his name!)
Dani's parents live just down the block so we walked down and had a beer before the reception.
Chelsey's mom is an artist and painted a beautiful tree that they used as their guest book.
The cake was made by Brianne's sister, Sarah, of Frosted Forest Bakery.
They had a great buffet dinner of prime rib, chicken, rice potatoes and vegetables.
Instead of just clinking glasses to make the bride and groom kiss you had to sing a song with "love" in it. It was fun to watch each table stand up and sing together. Our table sang "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling."

We had a blast dancing the night away and didn't get home until midnight!
Meanwhile, the kiddos were in good hands with my parents. It was Esme's first overnight away from us and she did great, sleeping from 10pm-6:30am. Parker's first overnight was a whole weekend, one night (and being the second baby) was much easier!
Congrats Chelsey and Troy, thanks for letting us celebrate with you!
