It's been 321 days since our last unique park visit. The pool occupied most of the summer, rightfully so. Friday seemed like as good day as any to seek one out. We have to drive further from home since we focused on the cities closest to us, but this one wasn't too far.
Key Features
Esme brought her buddy, MeiMei, along.
A very noticeable feature was the airplane traffic overhead. We were directly under a main path for flights coming in to MSP. Every couple of minutes, another would fly over, alternating south and north. With every one, Parker asked, "Mama, what's that?"
The basketball court had a couple balls there, so we shot some hoops too.
This one gets a respectable 8 swings.
After the park, we got some rolled ice cream at Ice Dreamzzz. I've been wanting to try this trendy confection for a while. Esme chose the oreo flavor. It was a fun novelty, but not worth the price to be a regular stop.
