Myrtle Beach: Part 2

The three boys and myself woke up early Sunday morning for a deep sea fishing excursion.  We departed from North Myrtle Beach on the Super Voyager III.  This was a value excursion, so we had minimal expectations.  We were going to be happy just catching anything.
We had about an hour ride out to sea along the intracoastal waterway.  We probably came within a few hundred yards of North Carolina as well.
We got a quick tutorial on the reels (and my dad for guidance) and let 'er buck!  Within a matter of minutes we were all pulling up fish.  I caught 7 total and Jimmy caught 5.  The largest ones we caught were black sea bass, but they weren't the 13" required to keep.
We stopped at 3-4 possible hot spots as we works our way back to dock.  It was a really great outing, other than forgetting sunscreen on the back of my legs.
Back at the house, my mom was hanging out with Parker and Esme.  After breakfast, they knocked out some chores, went swimming, and played games.
We filleted the fish we got to keep once back home.  My dad did a great job considering he had to use a steak knife.
This ended up being the only day we didn't get to swim at the beach.  We tried to go in the rain, but they shut it down due to a small storm.  We headed to the pool instead.
Jayden was leaving on Monday to get back for school, so my parents took him out to supper on Sunday and we hung out at home.
I woke up pretty early Monday morning, so we took the golf cart drive to the beach.  The clouds blocked our view a bit, but it still gave us some gorgeous pictures.

Parker was an expert at spotting all of the air conditioners in the complex.  They are all really big too since it's hot here so much of the year.
Biscuits and gravy for breakfast was delicious.
Monday was a double beach day!  It was overcast in the morning which was kind of nice.  We didn't have to worry as much about sunscreen.  Esme got a little deeper in with each visit.
Esme has had a second loose tooth for a while and it finally came out!  She threw it right in the trash, so a little part of her was left there.
Monday's supper was leftovers from the night before and the fish we caught Sunday.  My mom free-styled a coating with some pancake mix and it was really good!
