Journey to 100 Parks #75 - Mattocks Park - St. Paul, MN

We took a drive to the east side to deliver some custom t-shirts to a co-worker.  That led us to this park.  It was a pretty warm day, so I was glad it was really shaded.
Key Features
This was a sandy park, which I am already not a big fan of.  On top of that, there were toys all over.  At first you wonder who the toys belong to, but there were far too many to have been brought just to play that day.  This creates a bit of confusion for outsiders (and maybe locals too).  Who knows how to tell what toys were actually brought that day? We eventually let Parker play with one, just to be be told it belonged to someone.  If it weren't for that, this would have been a really great park, but it was just too distracting for Parker.
Esme's favorite part was the toddler playhouse structure.  She read books, made dinner, and kept watch on the yard.
This would normally be an 8, but I gotta knock it down for all the toys.  6 seems a bit harsh (but I thought about it!) 7 swings will do for this one.
