I've been hoping we could get out to the beach at least one day this summer. Friday was better late than never. We headed over to West Medicine Lake Beach to take a dip.
This was the first time since last August that any of us swam in a lake. Esme was timid at first, but warmed up pretty quickly.
Parker is really starting to test his limits with how deep he goes. We may need to start having him wear a life jacket as a precaution. Visibility in lakes can be minimal and it could be tough to see him if he goes under. We are planning on starting swimming lessons this fall if we can find a time that works.
It was a fun quick trip and I hope we can get out more next year.
