Esme's Theater Debut: Finding Nemo Kids

Esme has been doing weekly rehearsals since the beginning of September in preparation for this weekend's performances of Finding Nemo Kids with Kaleidoscope Performing Arts.  She was part of the sea chorus and played a red fish, jellyfish, and sea turtle. I couldn't take photos during the performance, but here are some of the many friends and family that came to support her.

Debut was a single performance on Friday night.  We just had a couple friends that night.  Lucy and her mom, Carla, from church attended.
The first performance on Sunday was our biggest crowd.  13 sitting in our section and another 5 from church.  My work friend Rick, Uncle Sean, Aunt Kelsey, Jaxxon, Jameson, and Peyton
She got 3 bouquets after this show.  Here she is with her church friend, Ellie, and dad.
Parker had a bit of a tough day leading up to the show trying to understand where Esme was and sitting for the whole thing was tricky, but he did his best. Here they are with Grandpa and Nana Buxton.
Surrogate great-grandparents, Chuck and Phyllis.
We were joined by Grandpa and Grandma Herrmann and cousin, Emma.
Emma and one of the choreographers, Linnea, have known each other since they were 7 which was a fun connection.  Here she is after the third and final performance of the day with her friend, Ryelle, who played Crush, the 150-year-old sea turtle.
We were both pretty exhausted by the time we got home Sunday night, but she's already asking when she can do another play.
