Journey to 100 Parks #11 - Three Ponds Park - Plymouth, MN

The weather was gorgeous today!  In looking for our next park to visit, I intentionally picked one in the middle of a neighborhood hoping it would not be as busy.  We passed a few parks that were packed with families soaking up what could be the last moments of "summer."
This one also caught my eye when I was originally mapping them out.  As it's name suggests, it's in the middle of three ponds and getting there is half the fun.
Key Features
As I had hoped, the playground was empty.  One other family stopped for a few minutes while we were there and a few folks walked by, but otherwise we pretty much had it to ourselves.  This one has a great combo of activities for kids of all ages.
Another Landscape Structures set and another without a traditional wheel for Parker to spin. The image panel was a new activity we haven't seen before.  Jimmy was able to distract Esme long enough for me to write her name.
There were a ton of great sensory spots for Parker.  The seat spinner was really close to the ground, which made it a bit trickier to ride.
This one definitely gets 8 swings.  A little journey within the journey and an afternoon of fun.
