The Blue Door Pub in St. Paul has long been on our list of places to check out! We actually tried going there with Parker a couple years ago, but it was an hour long wait and that was not happening with a baby! They opened another location in Minneapolis since then so we went there for date night tonight! Fall colors are right at peak here so it was a beautiful drive there.
We were Parkerless tonight knowing we would probably have a bit of a wait. Luckily, we arrived just in time! We were told it would be 25 minutes, but we got seated at the bar in just over 10. There was also a hug rush right after we walked in and the wait was over 1 1/2 hours before we were even seated!
Diners, Drive-ins and Dives visited in 2010 and showcased the Spam Bites. They were amazing! A ton of cream cheese, stuffed with spam and pickles, then deep fried and served with sweet chili lime sauce!

Things only got better when our burgers arrived. I got the baked 'n loaded burger, stuffed with colby jack cheese, topped with house made potato chips, chopped bacon, green onions, and smack sauce. I probably went overboard by making it a cowboy which added BBQ sauce, extra cheese, and onion rings!
Jimmy kept it tame with the bacon and cheddar stuffed burger and tots.
We were thoroughly stuffed upon leaving! We will definitely be back, plus one of the bartenders was a Huskers fan from Lincoln, NE!
