Cousin Pool Party

Esme finally lost her other front tooth Sunday morning, so now she's got 4 blanks!  There are signs of one new adult tooth coming in, so she should start filling back in soon.  Kelsey texted before church asking if they could come over and go swimming, and I was so excited!  We picked up some pizzas for lunch and had a blast swimming with Sean, Kelsey, Jaxxon, Jameson, Tegan, and Peyton.

Mid-Summer Fun

The kids have been having a blast and making new friends at summer Adventure Club.  They brought back field trips which is really exciting!  They are also having wheels day again with bikes and scooters as well as treat days like ice cream and walks to the donut shop and Dairy Queen.

I played foot golf with out youth group Wednesday night.  It's basically golf with a soccer ball.  I am not a soccer player and learned pretty quickly why you aren't supposed to kick with your toes.  It took a couple days for my feet to recover.

We stopped at Two Scoops in Osseo for ice cream treats yesterday.  I was excited that Esme chose something other than chocolate.

We've been keeping up with the pool as well on these warm summer days!

Diving and Dining

More swimming!

Grandpa and Grandma Herrmann stopped by for a visit and gave us a ring toss game for the pool.  It's really hard with the inflatable rings.

I finally dragged out the underwater camera that Esme has been asking for to set some action shots.

We had a few more sparklers left over from my parents house so we burned those up in the couple days following.

Our nephew, Jayden, started a new job as a restaurant host.  We decided to go harass visit him when he was working.  This spot is really close to our favorite popcorn store and had a really great, affordable menu.  We don't go out to eat a lot as a family, and even less since Covid, but we will definitely be back.
