New Year's Eve

We spent some time playing outside in the morning.  Jimmy took the kids for a sled ride around the block since the streets were still covered with snow from the day before.
We went to IKEA for some lunch and shopping.
We got a call from Parker's speech therapist on the way to IKEA asking if we wanted an earlier time slot, so we went right to speech from there.  Esme conked out in the car and Jimmy was able to keep her snoozing until we were finished.
The excitement continued back at home.  Parker's front two teeth have been loose for months and he finally lost one!  I've been helping wiggle them from time to time and it just popped right out the last time I did it.  It bled quite a bit, but he stayed calm.  He really liked looking at the blank space in the mirror.  The other one isn't as loose, so it will probably be a couple weeks before that one is out.
We had my parents over for a few hours in the evening for champagne and appetizers.
Happy New Year! Bring it on 2020!
