November 2019 Hodgepodge

Jimmy and I had a solo date night last week.  I played guitar for a youth retreat at church, then we went to Cheesecake factory.
Jimmy had Chicken Bellagio and I opted for Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta.
We continued our tradition of playing "Cheesecake Roulette" and our server chose Lemon Raspberry Cream.  It was so good!
We visited some friends and their two dogs recently.  They are moving and we hadn't seen their house, so we stopped by before they left.  Esme loved playing with Tulip and keeps telling me "I want to see Tulip."  Parker has been asking to go see the puppies too!
With the weather turning colder, we've been finding ways to have fun inside. Nerf guns and toy food made for fun target practice.
We tuned in to Home Alone and Esme thought it was hilarious.  She was glued to it and kept laughing when the wet bandits would fall down.
We also made our first trip in a while to Brookview Backyard indoor playground.  I went up a couple times with Esme, then she was confident enough to try alone.  She spent the whole time doing a loop with the slide.  It seems surreal that both kids are self sufficient there now.
