We had another great Mother's Day this year. I am so grateful for my awesome mom and all she does for our family. Here is a throwback to 1989 or 1990. Color blocking is back in, wish I still had that sweater.
Parker and I hung out with my parents all day and Jimmy joined us in the afternoon. We went on a chilly asparagus hunt with Grandpa. He had more fun than the picture below would lead you to believe.
Both of us took afternoon naps, then had some fun playing. Maybe a little too much fun since Parker got stuck in the railing! Jimmy was heading to rescue him while I took a picture...
I got a perfect handmade card from Parker and beautiful ring from Jimmy.
I have been eyeing up right hand rings for a while and I love this one. The picture doesn't show the color well, but it is a dark green emerald.
Somehow I feel like Parker knows when special days come around. He was willing to snuggle and cuddle all day. Pretty sure it doesn't get much better than this!
Happy Mother's Day to all my mommy friends out there, new and old. You guys are doing an amazing job and I am blessed to know you.
