Journey to 100 Parks #51 - Heritage Park - Plymouth, MN

This is a park we drive by a lot on our way to this part of Plymouth, but this is our first visit.  They will be replacing the structure this summer, so we will have to give it another try once complete.
Key Features
This one had a lot of unique features that I don't see in older parks.  It was definitely showing it's age in many places.
This one was full of spinning options for Parker.  3 total steering, sky wheels, spinners...
Esme's favorite was the spiral tube slide.  She went down it close to 15 times I think.  There were a couple other kids her age she was having fun playing with.  There was also a little girl there with her dad (I assume) and brother that kept coming up to me calling me "mommy."
Looking forward to visiting the new structure in the future, but this one still gets 8 swings for its large size and variety of equipment.

Journey to 100 Parks #50 - Jaycee Park - New Hope, MN

Half way to 100! I chose this one because it was close to home and the rain/snow were quickly approaching. It's smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood.

Key Features

I love when we get to see new things.  There aren't as many now that we've been to 50 different parks.  These Vibra Chimes are a fun twist on musical play, but I am not sure I would want to live next door.

The net climber was the highlight of this one. Esme is gaining more confidence with each visit.  The rain held off, but we did start getting some granular type snow.

8 solid swings for this one.

Journey to 100 Parks #49 - Schmidt Lake Park - Plymouth, MN

Now that we are approaching the halfway point, I am starting to plan out our parks moving forward.  I'd like to equally space remaining parks by city and have picked out our finale park which is currently having the structure replaced.  Fingers crossed it's open by July or August when I expect to hit 100.
Key Features:
I didn't wait long enough to show the kids the giant slide.  Once there, it was hard to pull them away. This was a really great structure with something for everyone.
This one gets extra swings for the amazing slide, 9 swings!

Journey to 100 Parks #48 - Grogan Park - Crystal, MN

This park is right next to the community center, so we visited before Esme's third week of Amazing Athletes.  This play area serves as an option for families at the ball fields on site and would be great for keeping kids busy.
Key Features
They had a combination spring rider and spinner that Parker loved.  He spent almost our entire visit there and we had to make him give other kids a turn.
It's small size and needed ground maintenance drop it down a bit to 6 swings.
