Two months already! We had a fun play date with my friend Kayla yesterday. She has two older kids and gorgeous baby Evelyn, who is just a few days younger than Esme. They are going to be great friends.
Our 2 month check up was today and she slept through most of it.
Until it was time for immunizations. She got drops on her tongue for Rotavirus and three shots.
She was not a big fan of the shots, but neither was Parker (left.)
Official 2 month measurements:
Weight: 10 lbs 0.6 oz (18.14%)
Length: 22.5" (51.62%)
Head: 14.17" (3.15%)
She has had great weight gain since birth and while her head a bit on the small side, it is nothing to be concerned with now. She is wearing mostly 0-3 and 3 month clothing. Gerber runs smaller, so she can also wear some 3-6 month stuff in that brand. She is still in newborn diapers, but will be moving to size 1 very soon (just need to use up the NB.) She is drinking 4 oz. of formula every 3 hours during the day and has been giving us longer stretches overnight. The last week or so she hasn't been waking until about 3 AM (7 hours). One overnight feeding makes life pretty easy! She still mostly tolerates tummy time, but like to roll over too. She kicks her feet a lot when she is awake and that can make her move around a bit. I feel like she is trying to catch up to Parker already! She is cooing a lot and doing a great job at following faces and toys put in front of her. She si growing so fast and I am trying not to miss any of it!
