We had a great day at the lake on Saturday. Our friends have a family cabin about 45 minutes away and invited a bunch of us out to play. The day started out a bit gloomy, but the sun came out for the afternoon. Parker had a great time playing with all his friends!
We took a pontoon ride in the morning, Parker was not a fan of that.
YouTube helped calm him down a bit.
We grilled and had a potluck for lunch.
They also had a great tire swing that Parker (and the rest of the kids) loved!
We swam for a bit in the morning, but it was still a bit chilly. I also got a chance to try paddle boarding. It was trickier than I thought, but a ton of fun. I did great until the very end. The board hit shore and I went tumbling backwards!
We headed back in the water after lunch. I think Parker could have stayed in all afternoon! Hopefully we can get out to the lake again before summer is over!
This looks like a blast! You are definitely braver than I am with the paddle board thing. I wouldn't have even tried, so good for you :)
