We took our annual tree pictures with Grandpa this weekend as well. The year to year changes are harder to tell with Parker's tree these days, but Esme's is still making decent strides.

Esme decided Sunday was Pablo and Pascal's birthday so I made teeny birthday hats from paper and pompoms.
Sunday was jammed packed. After we got home from 4-wheeling we went to our neighbors house to make some planters. Diane is our super sweet neighbor that I have mentioned previously. She gives the kids goody bags for holidays and birthdays. She saved these ice cream containers and put holes in the bottom to create planters. Esme got to add some gravel and soil before picking out plants and a decorative butterfly stake. Now lets see if we can keep them alive.
Monday was a pretty momentous day! Parker had his first day of middle school programming. While he won't start 6th grade until September, he is in the middle school summer program. Unlike adventure club, we do curbside drop off and pick up instead of going inside to sign them in. He seemed to have a pretty good day and was rewarded with a cupcake!
It's shaping up to be a pretty great summer!
