We were at Menards earlier this week and Esme wanted to get a watering can. We didn't have anything to water with it, so she asked to get some flowers. We bought a couple sets of annuals to put in the front planter. The main purpose of the planter is so that Parker doens' run in to the step with his 4-wheel, but I guess some greenery doesn't hurt.
Parker got to get a spinning flower for it as well.
We had out first kidless date night in a little bit with dinner at Doolittles Woodfire Grill followed by a night out at the ballpark. This was our first time at this restaurant, but it's a great location and we will be back.
It was an exciting, high-scoring affair with the Twins beating the Cleveland Guardians 12-8. Newcomer Royce Lewis hit his first career home run, a grand slam! Looking forward to a fun season for our team.
