Saturday was our 5th Annual Cookie Extravaganza! I can't believe we've been doing it that long already. Here is a throw back to the first year. I was really in the zone this year and didn't take as many pictures. I made the Gingerdoodle and sugar cookie doughs the night before and started up at 7:30 that morning. Esme is to an age where she can "help" a little. This year she did some preliminary taste tests of our ritz crackers and peanut butter before their chocolate bath.

One of these years we will have to get an actual piece count, but there were hundreds. 1 large platter, 4 medium ones, 4 plates, and still some left over.
The large platter came to my work and was looking pretty slim within 2 hours. Another successful year of baking!
