We participated in our second Cystic Fibrosis walk on Saturday morning. We supported our friends, Brandon, Allie, and Carter, on their team, Carter's Crew. The kids liked the thunder sticks and were so good for the 3 miles walk around Bde Maka Ska (formerly Lake Calhoun).
Saturday night was the Kentucky Derby, so I made some Kentucky Hot Brown sandwiches for dinner. It was much tastier than I was expecting.
We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse Monday night to celebrate my brother's birthday. We don't eat out at restaurants much these days, but it was loud enough to drown out Esme and Parker's ramblings. It's been a long time since we were all together for a meal, it was really nice. It also happened to be kid's night, so Parker got a balloon motorcycle and we got canvases for both kids to paint. Happy Birthday Sean!
