My work sponsored a team for the Anoka county polar plunge yesterday. Out team theme was onesies, so I broke out my Chewbacca jammies. It raises money for Special Olympics.
Here is out team before the plunge.
This idea was fun in theory, but do you know what happens when cotton pajamas get filled with water? They were so heavy coming out of the water.
I lost a croc after diving in and hand to run back to rescue it.
We also lucked out with pretty warm weather, so it wasn't super cold coming out. A fun dip for a great cause.
