Bayfield 2019: Part 2

Back at the hotel we headed back down to the pool for an afternoon dip. This was one of the warmest pools we have been in.  We could have spent hours there.
We geared up for the Twins first game in the ALDS.  Luckily, we stopped at Cub to pick up a couple Homer Hanky's before heading out of town.  They sold out very quickly and were hard to find by mid-morning Thursday.
Just before heading out to grab dinner, Esme's fingers were accidentally squished in the bathroom door.  I sent Jimmy and Parker out and spent the next 20 minutes or so trying to calm her down.  She wouldn't let me ice it, but did enjoy our snuggles.  It didn't swell too much, but she may loose her fingernail.
We all shared a Little Caesar's pizza for dinner. Jimmy also picked himself up a McDonald's apple pie, which was hilarious since we had spent the morning at the apple festival.
We left for home pretty early Saturday morning and made a stop at the Burnett Dairy Store in Grantsburg to grab some cheese and a pre-lunch ice cream snack courtesy of Grandpa Herrmann.
I think she enjoyed it!
Overall, it was a bit early for fall colors, but we got a glimpse of them here and there.  We always seem to be ready for a gas station stop where this pretty spot was.
Our final stop was for some lunch and playtime at McDonald's.  Another great Wisconsin trip under our belts!
