Bayfield 2019: Part 1

We had another great trip to Wisconsin for the Bayfield Apple Fest.  We met up with Jimmy's parents at Coop's Pizza in Hayward for lunch on Thursday.
Next it was off to the candy store and bakery for a cookie treat!
We walked around in the mist a bit more before heading out to Ashland.  I neglected to book our preferred hotel in time, so we stayed at the Super 8 this year.  They still had a pool and small continental breakfast that was enough for us.
Our room was massive!  Lots of room for the kids to roam and we were aboe a hallway, so I didn't have to worry about stomping on the floor.
We haven't had luck with the kids sleeping in a bed together.  They just keep each other up and wake up too early.  Jimmy and Esme shared a bed the first night, then we switched for night two.
The kids filled up on waffles and yogurt before leaving for Bayfield.
We had moderate temperatures with on and off misty rain.  First stop (as always) was for an apple brat with apple mustard and onions.
It was breezy and chilly down by the lake, so we took out pictures quick and went back on land.
Off for more food, cheese curds and mini donuts!
Jimmy's dad was kind enough to grab an extra umbrella for us.  Parker was able to hold it over himself and Esme to keep them mostly dry.
Grilled cheese and french fries completed our food journey.
Another fun year at the apple fest!
Esme was snoozing before we were out of the city limits, but the weekend isn't over yet!
