We hit this one up on the morning before running some errands. It was going to be a hot day, so I wanted to get out a it earlier. I was still over dressed in a long sleeve t-shirt.
Key Features
This one had a longer run from the sign to the park.
Esme found the hopscotch right away.
She also impressed me by going down the fire pole on her own after I helped her once. She is very proud of her new skill. That was about as exciting as it got for her. The main structure had two slides, but they could only be accessed by an awkward net climber. Esme was too small and Parker really had to work to get up. Esme found an alternate way up.
The wheel was also on the slide platform.
Esme asked to play the grass game. Apparently, it's just taking your shoes and socks off and feeling the grass. It was kinds of nice.
We ended our walk by checking out the nearby pedestrian bridge. There isn't much that surprises Parker these days. He typically will just do something, or refuse all together. It wasn't until he was on top that he became a bit frightened. He tried to get down the other side as quick as possible. Unfortunately, we had to go back over to get to the car.
A new structure like this would typically get a higher score, but the design was not optimal for what we like to do, so only 6 swings.
