Church Women's Retreat

Our Women's ministry team hosted a one day retreat last weekend.  They asked me to lead worship for the event and it was a fabulous day.  We started with worship and teaching from Wendy Terry, one of our church members.

Morning snacks and a tasty lunch spread.

We had two rotating workshops in the afternoon.  Tree of life button art and a movement/exercise one.  Ladies were encouraged to stay for both.  I started with button art and ended with the movement one.

It was such a fun day with other women from our church.

Adapted Softball Continues

They had a pizza party to celebrate the season and Isaac graduating.

April Hodgepodge

Esme used some of her birthday money to buy more of the Disney Princess Barbies.  They came on her actual birthday so I set them up for her to see when she came home from school.

Jimmy joined the inked club and got his first tattoo. It's a play on my first tattoo. To say I was surprised when he mentioned getting one would be an understatement.  He was not a big fan of me getting mine a few years ago.

Esme tagged along with Nana and myself for an outlet mall shopping trip. She was hoping to get another drink at the boba shop, but they were out of the flavor she likes so we got a slush from Burger King.  The Wolves are making another playoff run so we are sporting our shirts again!

Jimmy has been continuing to work with Esme on softball skills and is a parent help at practices.  Looking forward to a fun season!

Easter 2025

Esme participated in the kids palm walk last week for Palm Sunday.

We started Easter with baskets then dressed up for church.

Then we headed to my parents for lunch and an easter egg hunt.

The big kids did a good job letting the littles grab eggs.

Parker has fun riding the 4-wheeler and didn't mind missing out on the hunt.
