After 4 months of rehearsals, performance week is finally here for Esme. She got a cute little "break-a-leg" bag after tech rehearsal.
Her director made this adorable display of baby pictures of the casts. There were 3 casts total.
She played the part of Alice and had a few solo singing parts.
It was just me at her first show Thursday night and I got her a little flower.
On Friday we sent to see another cast perform. A friend from church, Alex, played the part of Mr. Wormwood. It was fun to see a different take on the same script.
Parker and Jimmy came for the second performance on Saturday. Parker made sure to inspect the neighboring AC during intermission.
I didn't have a ticket to this one, but took some pictures from the side.
Here is the group that came Saturday.
I got a great center seat for the final performance on Sunday,
They had an appreciation ceremony at the end and each child got a gift.
Here is the crowd from Sunday.
And some pictures with friends and her director, Emily.
I am so proud of Esme for her second play. This one was much longer than Nemo and she did great. She had her moments, but overall loved it. She is already signed up for her next play this fall!
