My little "wink wink" was a surprise trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington. We headed there as soon as Jimmy was off work on Sunday. We checked in to our room and headed right to the water park. We went here once with Parker a long time ago, but it seemed pretty much the same. We got to explore a bit more this time around now that the kids are bigger.
Parker's favorite thing was the big dumping buckets. He could have played there all day!
They also liked the smaller water slides in this area. We went down the big ones as well and that was so much fun!
We took a break for dinner after session 1. We had a fridge and microwave and were able to bring all of our own food. The room had a great set up, with one queen bed and bunks for the kids. I should have taken a picture of it.
We didn't do an egg hunt at home since Jimmy was working, but Esme decided to bring them along and have one in the room.
Then we were ready for round 2. Initially Esme wanted to stay back, but quickly changed her mind.
One of the coolest things was having the room key built in to our wrist bands. It was great not worrying about loosing or finding it in a bag. There is a Dunkin Donuts on site and Jimmy was able to get his early morning coffee fix without even leaving the hotel.
He also got the kids some donuts for breakfast. We had a little time to burn before the waterpark opened, so we went to Menards to walk around and get some snacks.
We packed up and checked out, then headed back for one more swim session.
Esme went down the big waterslide all by herself!
This was a great way to finish out spring break!
