We arrived at Dave and Julie's house mid-afternoon. Parker and Esme explored and played while we caught up with Julie. Esme went right to the pond and spent most of her free time there until we let the next morning.
When not at the pond, we was half avoiding/half stalking Gus. She really loved dogs, but her allergies can get the best of her. She was also playing with a bunch of flowers, so not sure what was bugging her more. He face swelled up a bit, so we gave her some medicine. That combined with an active afternoon put her out on the couch.
Grace and Izzy kept an eye on Parker and Esme while the old adults went out. McQuades Pub and Grill had fancier food than we normally get, but was still casual enough for me to wear yoga pants and crocs (I was not expecting to be eating out.). I got a sun dried tomato pesto pasta with shrimp and Jimmy got the falafel burger with cheese curds. Both were stellar. They also have a rotating tap list with lots of great local brews.
The kids thought it was so much fun staying in the camper. "It's like a little house."
Jimmy shared a bed with Parker and Esme shared with me. Hopefully our next visit won't be so far off.
