We made our summer pilgrimage to Nebraska this weekend.
Ice cream stop in Sioux Falls.
We tried a different hotel in Yankton this time and likely won't be back. We were given a heads up about several issues, but didn't get the credit were were told about. They have been unresponsive so far.
We got to Grandma's about 9:30 Saturday morning and everyone was already outside chatting. Esme was a great helper with the boys and kept them safe and away from the road.
Jimmy tried out one of their strider bikes.
Lunch was homemade Runza and salads.
We took an afternoon walk to the park with the boys.
Jaxxon loves the swings and could be on them all day.
We had so much fun on the various seesaws, trying to even out the weight.
Here was our attempt at a group photo before heading out. Jaxxon was not having it and Esme was there by force.
This one will have to do.
We stopped at the Runza restaurant for dinner because you can't just get this any time!
We passed a lot of water where is isn't normally and had to take more than 1 detour.
This detour was intentional on the way home. We stopped for a photo op in Parker, SD. Two towns named Parker in the same month!
Donut stop then home!
