Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a pretty fun filled day for us.  We started with our final stocking gifts of the year.  Parker got some pop tubes and Esme got some "fun" socks and will likely be wearing them exclusively as long as she can.  I really like us all having one kind of socks, it makes laundry so much easier.
Then we had Christmas Eve service at church.  This was the first year Esme got to have her own candle.  She was a little nervous, but did great!
We had my parents and nephew over after the Vikings game for dinner.  I made a charcuterie board with Sartori MontAmore, tomato basil havarti, wensleydale with cranberries, fresh mozzarella, pineapple ham, peppered turkey, pepper salami, hot capocollo, and hot calabrese.  I also grabbed a desserty gingerbread goat cheese which was different.  I also made oyster stew and christmas soup.
In good ole fashion Buxton style, the kids each got to open one present.  Esme has been jealous of Parker's Yeti cup for a while and was very excited to get her own.
Parker got a Daniel Tiger trolley and Jimmy got a dessert cookbook.
What a good looking crew!
We played some cards before snuggling up in our Christmas jammies for the night.
