A Herrmann Christmas Extravaganza

We pulled double duty with Herrmann Christmases on Saturday.  Jimmy was working, but the kids and I made our way to My sister-in-law, Tera's house to celebrate with the immediate family.  Before we even opened gifts, our niece, Izzy, gave Esme an extra surprise of a giant narwhal squishmallow named ESME!!! She was so excited for it.
We enjoyed a BBQ meal of brisket, mac and cheese, and baked beans that's become our go-to in recent years.
Then it was present time.
Esme got some Wonder Woman Jammies and a piranha plant game.
Her pillow case had hearts and "I Love Grama."
She was so excited for Tilly Turkey, a new Cabbage Patch Cutie.  The face in the picture on the right is priceless.  Along with this she said, "Oh no, mom, it's Mouse Trap."  I of course forgot I had put this on her Christmas list when Jimmy bought it a couple weeks ago.
Parker's pillow case had Daniel Tiger and he got a straw lid for his Yeti, a bike tail light, and a dinosaur union suit.
We followed this up by gathering at Jimmy's aunt and uncles house for an extended family gathering.  I didn't take many pictures but we got one with all the "grandkids."  We were missing a few, but it was still a fun group.
Esme loved getting to see Sloane again, the newest cousin.
Sunday morning we did our Advent presents.  Esme got a make your own bracelet kit and Parker got some transformable figdet spinners.
This will be the only weekend this holiday season that Jimmy has to work which is pretty fun!
