My parent's got a new 4 wheeler for the kids to ride. Our little electric one still works for our house, but is getting small for Parker. Jimmy headed over there with them while I rested after the wedding. We didn't have them in ideal clothing, but there was still plenty of protective gear. Parker was not a big fan of the helmet, but it is a requirement since this one goes much faster.
It's big enough for a passanger, so Jimmy went with Parker for his first ride.
He's doens't mind riding it by himself either. Esme got a little ahead of herself and fell off. The tire got her in the leg and it ended up hitting a tree. To clarify, it rolled in to the tree, she didn't drive it in to the tree.
She had a good size bruise that would looks worse before it got better.
Day 1 video
Despite Saturday's events, Esme was itching to get back on it. We wore pants and tennis shoes on Sunday and were better prepared. She hoped right back on!
Parker is much more timid, but that's a good thing. He's still coming around to the helmet and chest protector as well.
Come Monday morning, Esme's bruise was looking pretty purple, but doesn't seem to be bothering her.
