Esme started swimming lessons on Tuesday. We were originally signed up to take them at the outdoor pool this summer, but I got a call last week for a waiting list we were on for indoor ones. It's nice not to have to worry about weather being a factor. She is in a group of 4 kids. All of them are pretty comfortable in the water, but take turns working with the instructor.
It took a bit to realize she could touch the bottom. Once she figured that out, she was much more confident.
She will have 8 lessons total, so we will see how her skills progress. I am hopeful she'll be able to keep herself above water by the end of the summer.
